So September is supposed to be the first month of spring..
But someone forgot to tell someone up there to turn on the heat
Maybe the world is upside down...
Maybe it thinks that we are in the northern hemisphere where it is the first month of Autumn...
Maybe I am just getting older and my circulation isnt working so that I just think it's cold....
But on the other hand my young grandson had his first swim of the season in the pool...
And a lovely older lady has been swimming at the beach....
but then she swims all through winter too .. so that doesn't count.
I have friends who fly north for the winter, just like the birds. They're not back yet.. they're waiting for Spring!
Whales swim to the tropics in autumn to have their calves and they are swimming back south before the summer.... so they know it's spring
The pesky doves are making their nests in the trees around the houses and driving us mad with their constant and monotonus songs...so they know it's spring.
Creatures and plants in nature continue on as if they know it's Spring...
But I know different... My bones know different...
Someone forgot to shut the door on winter...
As soon as I can I am going to shut that door and put a Qicklock in the door jamb...
That'll keep winter out....
